Peterson's Balkan Delight is a smooth and gentle Latakia blend. Although it's called Balkan Delight, there are no mention of there being any Oriental tobaccos present. This does not mean there's no spice to this blend and as the Perique gives a mild peppery quality to the flavour. The Latakia's smoky woody taste is immediately present but is not overpowering and allows the sweetness of the Virginia through. The Perigue takes the stage with the Latakia and combine to give a tranquil peppery bitterness and smoky flair that is wonderful to the palate.
